Rio Jorco’s coffee grows in shaded High Altitude microclimate at an average of 1800 meters above sea level (MASL) in the municipalities of Aserri, Corralillo, Acosta, Frailes and Desamparados. These microregions of Tarrazu have won multiple Cup of Excellence (COE) awards, year after year. Sourced from small co-operative of coffee producers who pick the ripest cherries and in return are compensated based on cupping quality.
